Introduction to the Library
Our library is at the heart of the school, a place of learning and empowerment, providing a welcoming, supportive and ordered environment to all.
Library resources allow imaginations to run free, introducing new experiences, inspiring students and giving access to knowledge and enjoyment. We promote extending reading abilities, cultural diversity and recreational interests so it might become a source of lasting enjoyment. Supporting the curriculum with a wide range of effective resources and making them accessible to the school community.
The library helps to students to take responsibility for their own learning through information literacy, learning how to find information, to select what is relevant, and how to use it in the best way for their own particular needs.
