Sky Students Entertain their teachers for lunch
On Wednesday March 19th students in Sky Class cooked a three course Italian meal for some of their teachers. These students were Paige Howarth (Year 8) Kylie Howarth (Year 9) and Jade Williams (Year 10). The students were completing two ASDAN challenges whilst also improving their own learning in Food Technology, Maths and English. The girls made a delicious meal of Brochette as a starter, a choice of Lasagne or Spaghetti Bolognese for the main course and sumptuous chocolate gateaux for a dessert. They then finished the meal off with coffee and chocolates. All the guests said that the food was beautifully cooked and that they thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Sky Class. The girls had an excellent opportunity to display their wonderful social skills as they looked after their teachers to a standard that any Italian restaurant would be proud of!
